IPS Why Us

Indore Public School has well equipped computerized library, with over 10,000 volumes which include books, videos, DVD’s, CD’s, subscription to 25 periodicals which are added to continually. The Prime objective of our Library is to make it as Learning Resource Center.

The Library has various online facilities for easy access of information. These include Online Public Access Catalogue, Digital Library, Various Database Subscription e.g. EBSCO and approach to e-books. The library also provides students and teachers with a range of reference books, encyclopedia, journals and newspapers, and internet facilities to enrich their classroom activities and knowledge.

All new books are arranged on a display table in the library for a month and reviews put up on the Notice BoardOur specially trained Librarian organizes the Library Week with book readings, designing book jackets & book marks and writing book reviews.

With a view to inculcate reading habit among students Family Reading Bags are given to students till Grade V. The motive is to make the entire family realize the importance of developing Reading Habit.

Communication is the key to success. It’s not the only one, but it does play a crucial role in the success of any person. If you can communicate your thoughts, your ideas and your perception to the person sitting next to you in an exactly similar fashion as it is painted in your mind, you can win more than half of the competitive battles.

The accommodation of a separate language lab is a step ahead in making our students more confident in their approach while conversing.

The state-of-the-art lab is equipped with all the modern amenities and multimedia facilities. We also have interactive boards that play a vital role. The spacious lab can accommodate up to 35 students in it at one time.

What is a modern school without conventional multimedia labs with state-of-the-art equipment? At Indore Public School, we believe that our students should be techno-savvy and to make that true; we have separate multimedia labs for both our junior and senior classes.

The multimedia labs offer considerable time and freedom to our students to learn with computers. We also have well equipped audiovisual facilities in our labs. The big LCD screen makes it easy for faculties to teach an entire group easily in a single session. In a way, that process fuses the traditional education system with enough flexibility for students to interact.

The integration of multimedia is, however, a conventional step to make the teaching more effectiveWhen students can see things practically happening in front of them, they learn quickly and can grasp the concepts much more comfortably.

Realizing the importance of developing soft skills among students, we have well-designed and separate computer labs for kids and older children, run by a well-educated and qualified faculty, with one-on-one access.

We have invested in new ERP software which would further raise teaching-learning-working at Indore Public School to contemporary technological standards.

There are 150 computers in our labs currently. We use our LAN with Windows XP for teaching-learning, documentation, and presentations. Currently, we claim 1:10 as the “student to computer ratio” on campus.

The traditional way of teaching became deprecated a few years ago. With the upcoming technologies, it has become easier for teachers to impart their knowledge to the students and make them understand even the complex subjects conveniently. The Extramarks Solutions is a partner of the school and provides India’s Largest Content Library in the form of hi-definition audio visuals on various topics. Smart class is transforming the way teachers teach, and students learn in school.

At Indore Public School, we have AV rooms that are equipped with smart class connection, display boards, aesthetic furnishing, projectors, and lockers. In addition, a high-speed broadband connection facilitates an easy access to any required information. The classes are also connected with the Knowledge Center to make things streamlined.

In such a hi-tech classroom, it becomes easy for our teachers to derive even the most complex chapters or concepts from easy illustrations, presentation or animated videos. As a result, your child is able to learn and grasp easily. Also, with visual aid, it stays in their mind more prominently.

Our Labs helps students with observation, hypothesizing, and experimentation which are a crucial part of development in the field of Natural Sciences. The School has well-equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Students are encouraged to use these laboratories to learn through experiments. The labs have interactive spaces that allow children to grow laterally providing the necessary environment outside the classroom.

Indore Public School has a specialized Math Lab. It is a place where students can learn and explore various mathematical concepts and verify various mathematical facts and theorems using the variety of activities. It is well equipped with necessary kits and tools and provides an opportunity to the students to understand and internalize the basic mathematical concepts through concrete objects and situations. The aim is to provide greater scope for individual participation in the process of learning and becoming autonomous learners.

It has been said, “Science is curiosity about life, art is wonder at the life”.

To counterbalance today’s tough competition and the need to acquire best marks in school, in addition to a difficult curriculum, dance forms could play a very important role. They soothe and relax the minds of over-stressed school children and, at the same time, they educate the children and stimulate their concentration and creativity.

Dancing benefits a child’s education. Through dance, children not only learn the benefits of exercise but they also learn coordination, balance, flexibility, stamina, stability, memory and discipline.

At Indore Public School we provide our students with the best facilities like a sound proof Dance Studio and dance aids. We have an excellent trained faculty for dance and under their able guidance our school has won many dance competitions held across the city. Some of our students have proved their mettle at the National Level Competitions too.

The school has a strong and efficient network of the transit system with nearly 80 buses plying in and around the city.

The school has a strong and efficient network of the transit system with nearly 80 buses plying in and around the city.
Our buses ply in two shifts providing an efficient, safe and reliable transportation system which forms a web all around IndoreMhow, and Pithampur. Lady and male conductors both board the buses while picking and dropping students daily. CCTV Cameras are installed in all the buses and our surveillance system monitors all the activities while they are on their way.

It is not just about students, but humans in general. We all love to eat in a hygienic place that has good aesthetics overall. Even your favorite cuisine might not appeal to you in a foul place.

At Indore Public School, special consideration is taken into account regarding the hygiene and cleanliness of our mess. At every level, we try to create a home for our students. The food is as healthy and nutritious as at home and prepared with love. Additionally, we ensure that our kitchen is very clean by pursuing regular maintenance.

The world is changing at a rapid pace. Technological advancements have accelerated, enhanced by the interconnectedness brought on by the power of the Internet and social media and resulting ‘flattening’ of the world.

Recent movements in education technology are ubiquitous and integrated into every aspect of our lives. Our students are digital natives who have grown up using Smartphone’s and iPads.

Robots are capable of amazing things. Some can fly like insects, clean homes, detonate bombs, and even explore distant planets. At Indore Public School, an ambitious plan has been put in place to prepare students to create some of their very own robots. Here, the focus is not on the robots but their creators – the students.

Teaching Robotics is about empowering students to create and configure robotics devices and program computers to nurture in students the skill sets necessary to play an active role in society.

From idea to working prototype, we engage our students in practical and open-ended engineering challenges with problem solving. The two main pedagogical learning approaches that have taken root in Robotics are learning- by-doing and construction-ism.

The Robotics approach takes into account the increasing popularity of Computer Science and the learning by doing approach to solve complex problems and use computers meaningfully in learning.

  • Collaborative learning
  • Experiential learning
  • Reflective learning

In Robotics students learn problem-solving and critical thinking skills as they design a robot in teams. Students engage in practical tasks which include designing, building, programming and testing.

For many students, it can prove to be delightfully challenging to build a moving vehicle from scratch to perform a series of elaborate maneuvers, which include picking up items and dropping them in designated places. Through these tasks, students learn how to think systematically and analytically to solve a problem.
